We’re Taking COVID-19 Precautions to Keep Our Customers and Employees Safe

With the COVID-19 pandemic, the resulting shutdown of numerous businesses and the stay-at-home orders many governors have issued across the country, we’re currently all navigating through uncharted waters.

As electricians, our work is considered “essential” during the COVID-19 pandemic, which means we are still providing service to customers with electrical issues at their homes or businesses. However, given the current environment, we need to take extra efforts to make sure we protect the safety of our employees and our customers by taking appropriate COVID-19 precautions in North Scottsdale, AZ.

Take plenty of precautions to stay safe

First and foremost, we ask any customers who are feeling ill or who have had flu-like symptoms to refrain from having our technicians come out to your home. This means you should avoid planning service appointments until you are well and have isolated yourself for the appropriate amount of time. It also means rescheduling service appointments you may already have planned. We will not be upset at all about the changes in appointment times—quite the contrary, we encourage you to take the appropriate steps to make sure you keep yourself and our workers safe.

This also means our own employees are instructed to not work if they are feeling ill or have been in contact with someone exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms. You can trust that any electrician who comes out to your property will not be doing so while ill. Your safety is of the utmost concern to us.

When our electricians do come out to your property to conduct the necessary service, we also ask that you maintain social distancing as much as possible. We will be taking all the proper steps to stay sanitary during work appointments, but please keep your distance to the fullest possible extent during the appointment.

In the meantime, be sure to continue following the precautions outlined by health professionals, including:

  • Wash hands regularly: Using soap or sanitizer, wash your hands thoroughly for at least 20 seconds on a regular basis, making sure you get between the fingers and over your entire hand.
  • Avoid touching your face: The membranes and tissues in your face can absorb viruses easily, and the more you touch your face, the more you risk infecting yourself if your hands are not clean.
  • Maintain social distancing: Avoid leaving your home for anything that is not essential (like groceries, important supplies, medical appointments or certain types of work), and do not have anyone over to your home to visit or socialize. Numerous studies have shown this is the best way to reduce the spread of the virus.

These are unique and stressful times for all of us, but we at Eavenson Electric Co. are completely confident in our ability to continue providing our clients the same level of excellent electrical service they’ve come to expect from our team, while also ensuring your safety at all times. If you have any questions about how the pandemic will affect our services moving forward, or about the COVID-19 precautions we’re taking in North Scottsdale, AZ, we encourage you to contact us today.
